Sorokin allowed four goals on 23 shots before being replaced by Marcus Hogberg to begin the third period of Tuesday's 4-0 loss to the Hurricanes.
Is an athletic netminder who excelled in the KHL and won a league championship before arriving in North America. Extremely flexible, he never gives up on a play and can steal games for his team. He is still getting used to the smaller rinks in the NHL and will need to get stronger to make the most of his ability. Is occasionally prone to overplaying shots and winding up out of position.
